Nicole Johanson

Hello, I'm Nicole Johanson and ever since I can remember I have loved listening to other people's personal stories.

I can remember when I was in middle school my friends would call me to talk about their worries, fears and their struggles. These experiences led me to choose a career where I could use my listening skills everyday!

My goal as a talk therapist is to build trust and develop relationships, healing can occur within those relationships. I work with children, adolescents and adults. Treatment is individualized based on each clients needs. I offer a non-judgmental and collaborative environment. I have expertise in treating clients with ADHD, anxiety, depression, developmental delays, relationship issues and grief and loss. I am here to help you develop positive coping skills and to provide emotional support and guidance.

I have 25 years of experience working in different settings including, out patient mental health, foster/adoption agencies, schools and most recently in a medical setting.

My goal is to normalize the difficulties' and challenges in my clients life and to work with my clients to gain insight, and make changes in order to improve their quality of life. I offer evening appointments and I work out of the Auburn Hills location.
