Miki Cederwall

Hi there! I'm Miki, Limited License Social Worker, and I believe that growth starts by showing up as you are – imperfectly human. My passion lies in working with young adults, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, and college students. I will help you navigate life's challenges with compassion, curiosity, and a little bit of humor.

I earned my Master's in Social Work from Fordham University in 2023 and have experience with a variety of clients. I previously worked in hospice social work, where I learned about the many forms that grief can take. I also have experience working with the unhoused population, foster children, and the systems surrounding them. I utilize a variety of evidence-based practices, including my training in EMDR.

Outside of the therapy office, you can usually find me curled up on the sofa with my spouse and our two cats. I'm typically working on my next crochet project, playing video games, or playing D&D. I believe in the power of showing up authentically, and that’s the energy I bring into the therapy space—no judgment, no pretense, just space for you to be yourself.
