Mikayla Brooks

Reaching out for help takes courage, and I’m here to make that first step feel a little easier. I’m a mental health counseling intern with two years of experience in addiction counseling, working with clients who face severe trauma, chronic substance use, and co-occurring disorders across multiple levels of care. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in trauma informed practice. I draw from Humanistic theory, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and integrative techniques to help you make sense of your experiences, understand your patterns, and build confidence in your growth. My goal is to offer a space that feels safe, supportive, and genuinely yours so we can work toward real, meaningful change together.

I’m currently completing my master’s in Mental Health Counseling at Baker College, where I serve as both a practicum student and intern.
