Kelly is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who specializes in Sexual Addiction and complex partner betrayal trauma. Her other focus areas include compulsive sexual behaviors (including but not limited to masturbation and pornography), relationship infidelity, trauma reactions, couples healing, and post-traumatic stress disorders. Kelly is a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist Candidate. She received her training from the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP). She is also trained in Somatic and Attachment-Focused EMDR (SAFE). Primarily she works with individuals rather than couples and groups.
Kelly has a Bachelor of Science in Health Studies from Michigan State University and a Master of Arts in School & Community Counseling from Wayne State University. Kelly also has completed coursework at The University of North Carolina Greensboro in clinical supervision for Limited Licensed Professional Counselors.
Additionally she has a School Counselor License and has years of experience working with adolescents on depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, grief & loss, and emotional regulation. Her primary interest areas include identity development and matters related to intimacy and attachment.
