Our psychotherapists all share a common goal – to provide caring and effective psychotherapy for our clients. All have completed either a master’s or doctoral degree in a mental health field – psychology, clinical mental health counseling or social work. They have studied methods and techniques designed to improve emotional, cognitive, behavioral and spiritual functioning of clients with whom they work. Therapists typically have thousands of hours of pre and post graduate practicum and internship experience. This training includes direct treatment of individuals with various mental health concerns under the guidance of more advanced and experienced supervisors and mentors.
The most important prerequisite for acceptance into advanced training as a therapist is a capacity to empathize with, understand and be supportive to those who are distressed, troubled or simply in need of help to improve their lives. If you need help with your mental health, emotional growth or life improvement please call.
