Therapeutically, I take a macro approach with my clients, examining societal pressures: gender, sexuality, racial confines, eating practices, and cultural traditions. To address these pressures, thoughts, and feelings, we will make a treatment plan curated for you. Our work together will be grounded in empathic attunement, psychotherapy, narrative therapy, and different art modalities.
I obtained my Master’s degree from Oakland University in Mental Health and Clinical Counseling. I have also done graduate work and research at New York University with specificity to race, socioeconomics, gender, and sexuality. I very much value diversity and inclusion and take pride in working with humans from all different backgrounds.
I have background working at a Domestic Violence Rehabilitation Clinic in California. I understand masculinity, femininity, control, attachment, and cultural interventions with regard to unhealthy relationships. I have experience working with adult women who have experienced sexual trauma and defeated sense of self.
