Jessica Hernandez

I truly believe that everyone deserves to have a safe environment to discuss their emotions, trauma, and day to day stressors. My goal with every client is to provide that safe environment where clients can feel comfortable and supported in sharing their life experiences.

I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. Through this experience I’ve recognized that people require different approaches to match their individual needs. I will utilize a client centered approach, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and play therapy. I obtained my Masters Degree in Social Work from California State University, Chico. I have a clinical social work license in Michigan (LMSW) and California (LCSW).

I advocate and promote mental health awareness for everyone. As a Latina, I recognize a lack of mental health awareness and resources in the Latinx community. I’m fluent in Spanish and English and accepting both Spanish and English speaking clients.
