Hello and welcome! First and foremost, I would like to say thank you for taking the time to put yourself first.
A little bit of background information. I graduated from Wayne State University with a bachelor’s of science with a major in psychology. I went on to complete my master’s in health education from Eastern Michigan University. I then attended the University of North Texas where I completed a graduate certification in Applied Behavior Analysis. I am currently working on obtaining a second master’s degree in clinical psychology at the Michigan School of Psychology. I am certified as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and currently worked as a Licensed Behavior Analyst in the states of Michigan and Virginia operating a small ABA practice. I am also a supervised intern at Sollars and Associates.
My approach to therapy is behavioral and humanistic in nature. I like to look at the person as a whole, but also know that every behavior serves meaning and purpose and it is very important to be cognizant of how these behaviors affect your everyday life and your interactions with others.
I have experience working with children ages 2-18 years old who have autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, OCD, ODD, anxiety, academic struggles, and difficulties with regulating their emotions.
