Francesca Stringer

Hello! I am Francesca Stringer, LLMSW and I usually go by Frankie, she/her pronouns. My goal as a mental health therapist is to support you on a path toward healing because therapy is about meeting you where you are and collaboratively working toward your goals. As a professional, I tend to use an integrative or holistic model that combines various therapeutic models and includes empowerment as well as strengths-based approaches. My methods take into consideration the person as a whole, all of their life experiences up until our work together and even after. I believe that centering you and your experiences while working collaboratively and building a healthy therapeutic relationship creates a healing space that promotes accountability, resilience, and growth.

I have experience working with youth and adults in various settings, walks of life, backgrounds, etc. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in psychology with a minor in African and African American Studies in 2019 and then my Masters Degree in Social Work in 2022 both from Michigan State University. During graduate studies, I completed certificates in child welfare and evidence-based trauma treatment. I am currently working towards national certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Outside of my work as a mental health therapist at Sollars, I work with those ages 3-24 who have experienced child sexual abuse at The Firecracker Foundation.

I look forward to working with you on your path toward healing!
