I am here to motivate, engage, and instill hope to guide you along your journey. We will work together towards the goals we set throughout our sessions. My therapeutic techniques vary depending on the needs of each client. These techniques include person-centered, Adlerian, Existential, Gestalt, REBT, Reality Therapy, and Behavioral Therapy.
I graduated from Wayne State University with a Masters of Arts in Rehabilitation Counseling. My education has provided me with a strong theoretical and clinical foundation in the practice of disability and personal adjustment counseling, career counseling, psychosocial and vocational assessment, job development and placement, supported employment, and community inclusion for persons with disabilities. I have specialized training in areas such as psychiatric disabilities, dual diagnosis disorders, and therapeutic interventions in hope and positive psychology.
I have experience working with adolescents, adults, and geriatrics who suffer from depression, anxiety, suicidal ideations, self-harm, developmental disorders, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar, psychosis, and PTSD.
I am a bilingual therapist speaking English and Greek. My multicultural background gives me an open mind and empathetic understanding when working with my clients.
