I am a Limited Licensed Professional Counselor. I currently hold the credentials of CAADC-DP, with the Michigan Certification Board for Addiction Professionals. My educational accomplishments consist of a Master of Science degree in Community Psychology and Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. I have experience in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), to assist people with reducing symptoms of mental health conditions and changing destructive behaviors. I have an extensive background in substance abuse treatment. My employment experiences consist of working in a medication
assisted treatment program. I have managed a youth addiction residential program and outpatient detoxification program. I have experience working with children diagnosed with mental health disorders, such as anxiety disorders, mood disorders, personality disorders, addiction disorders, and developmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder. Whenever I work with clients, I like to integrate person centered therapy. I believe that assisting a person with clarifying and reaching their goals is essential in therapy.
