Sometimes in our lives we experience psychological and emotional distress. Choosing to begin the journey of self-discovery, growth, and healing through therapy can seem intimidating but has the potential to be one of the most rewarding things people can do for themselves. I will provide each individual a caring professional counseling relationship in a safe and confidential environment. Everyone deserves a space to express their feelings and emotions with someone to listen without judgement.
I believe my life experiences have given me insight on how to help others work through grief, trauma, loss, depression, and anxiety. I am a wife, mother of five, and grandmother of three. My experiences have strengthened me as a therapist. My client-centered and humanistic approach to therapy can help adults, children, adolescents, families, and couples to overcome the problems that life sometimes brings. My goal is to provide you the space to become your best self!
I graduated with my Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis. I have worked as a crisis therapist, an autism therapist, and as a mental health outreach coordinator for Oakland and Wayne Counties. I served in Teach for America, teaching in low-economic schools helping to fight education inequalities. Now I am here to serve you.
I look forward to working with you on the journey to greatness!
