Life challenges us time and again, but after hardships, we find our strength. I am the empathetic
and compassionate person I am today as a result of challenging life experiences that led me on
this path and gave me an unfailing passion for helping others get “unstuck,” feel better, and
achieve their personal best. My goal is to provide you with genuine connection, attention, and
care, using an individually tailored approach that addresses both the mind and body and best
supports your own unique needs.
I am in my fourth year of the CACREP accredited Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC)
program at Antioch University New England, specializing in Substance Abuse & Addictions. I
have completed intensive individual and group therapy residencies and was recently inducted
into the Chi Sigma Iota counseling honors society, which is reserved for students ranking at the
top of their class.
Above all, I believe in person-centered care – you know you best. An evidenced-based
behavioral approach such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral
Therapy (DBT) or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) might be the best or we may
work with Motivational Interviewing, the Stages of Change model, Emotionally Focused
Therapy (EFT), Solutions-Focused Therapy or others. We may incorporate mindfulness
strategies or use an integrative approach, and you could be asked to complete simple at-home
activities meant to guide our conversations and ensure you are reaching your therapeutic goals.
Whether you are struggling with addiction, depression, anxiety, posttraumatic stress disorder, or
something else that is just making you “feel off,” let’s talk about it. Changing certain behaviors,
reframing negative thought patterns, and improving the ways in which you form attachments and
communicate with others can relieve emotional pain and help you move forward in a meaningful
way. Sustainable healing is possible as you become more self-aware and confident in your own
abilities. I’m ready to help jumpstart your journey to a deeper self-understanding, and I look
forward to working with you to help you reach your full potential!
