Throughout our lives, we are confronted with a variety of scenarios that might leave us feeling out of control or overwhelmed. Asking for what you want and need should never be viewed as a "bother", here, you will always be heard and seen.
My counseling practice is integrative and informed by the elements of Acceptance and Commitment (ACT), Reality Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Mindfulness-Based (MBCT), Person-Centered, Humanistic, and Positive Psychology because they recognize the individuality of each individual, focusing on addressing both the negative and positive thought patterns and the behaviors that contribute to one's concerns. The goal is to help you accept both the negative and positive components of your attitudes and characteristics as I believe that everyone has an intrinsic potential to grow emotionally and mentally toward the aims of self actualization and personal happiness.
I graduated from Oakland University with a Master of Arts in Counseling with an emphasis on Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My clinical counseling experience comes from working with adolescents and young adults with Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, Grief and Loss, Life Transitions, LGBTQIA+, Peer Relationships, Chronic Pain, Relationship Issues, School Issues, Self Esteem, Self-Harming, Stress, Suicidal Ideation, Trauma, PTSD and many more.
