Rayna Garcia

Hi! My name is Rayna (she/they). I'm currently finishing my MS in Clinical Health Psychology at the University of Michigan-Dearborn. I got my undergraduate degree at the University of North Florida, where I majored in Psychology. After I graduated, I worked in research for several years. I worked for hospitals including Moffitt Cancer Center, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Michigan Medicine, where I assisted with clinical trials in oncology and substance-use prevention. Naturally, I gravitate toward working with clients who have medical illnesses/chronic pain or who are experiencing grief/bereavement. I believe it is important to remember that physical symptoms and psychological symptoms often go hand in hand. My goal is to help clients find relief from this cycle so that they can achieve their goals and be fulfilled in their lives.
