My clients are treated with respect and genuine empathy. I recognize what a difficult step it can be to seek therapy and become vulnerable, which is why I honor where you would like to begin. Whether you’re ready to jump all in, or you need some time to feel things out, my goal is to start where you’re comfortable. For me to understand you, I leave my assumptions at the door and let you teach me about your world. This way, we can formulate treatment goals that are meaningful to you. We will work together as a team and take on challenges together. I believe that you are the agent of your change, and I am here to help empower you to develop a greater capacity for self-awareness and understanding. When you begin to find meaning in your life and experiences, you will gain a sense of personal freedom and choice to pursue your values and aspirations.
I attended Michigan School of Professional Psychology where I earned a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology. I utilize an integrative approach including existential, humanistic, person-centered, psychodynamic, and cognitive models. I work with children, adolescents, and adults in a warm, comforting, and safe environment to provide a foundation for growth, change, and healing.
