“Why doesn’t anyone get me?” “It feels like I’m the only one going through this.” “I’m so overwhelmed that I can’t find my balance anymore.” “Will I ever feel happy again?” Is this your reality? It doesn’t have to be.
Learning what makes people unique – what makes them tick; what lights up their eyes; what brings them joy – and helping them become the best version of themselves is one of my greatest passions in life. I feel blessed to be able to make my passion a reality as an empathic, solution-focused counselor and teacher.
I graduated with a Masters degree in Counseling from Oakland University and a Masters degree in Teaching from Marygrove College. I am licensed as a School Counselor and have spent over a decade teaching and working with high school aged students. I use a mix of psychological approaches including Cognitive Behavioral and Psychodynamic. I work with all ages and specialize in depression, anxiety, school, relationship and family issues and parenting strategies.
