My name is Maura (she/her), and I’m a supervised graduate intern. I’m completing my M. A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Oakland University, graduating in May of 2025. During my time in the program, I’ve drawn heavily from cognitive behavioral and person-centered counseling perspectives. I emphasize curiosity about our thoughts, feelings, and actions as we respond to challenges. I believe that, while it isn’t always easy, the ability to achieve our goals is present in each of us and our story. Aside from this, I pull from a variety of theories to best meet your unique needs.
