I truly believe that change happens within the context of relationships; that building a trusting, respectful, and mutually engaging partnership is the best way to create change in therapy. Deciding to begin therapy is a big step that often takes courage and a commitment to step out of ones comfort zone. It is my goal to provide a space that honors you as an individual and challenges you to look within and work to become the best version of yourself, however you define that to be.
I attended Wayne State University gaining a Master’s Degree in Social Work with a concentration in Interpersonal Practice and End-Of-Life Issues. I have experience providing therapeutic services in educational, outpatient, and home-based settings working with children, adults, and family units. My therapeutic focus is relationship-based, concentrating on issues such as anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, parent/child attachment, pregnancy and parenting concerns, and relationship difficulties. My specialty includes early childhood educational related issues- including behavior and development.
Using an individualized, strength-based approach, together we will search for understanding and hope. I will follow your lead as we journey toward lasting change together.
