Throughout life, it is crucial to have an ally to venture through the course of the up-and-downs that will undoubtedly be thrown our way. Through therapy, it is my goal to be on this journey with you and most importantly, to create a safe place for you to be you. It is with this empathetic understanding and unconditional positive regard that one can flourish and address the issues at hand. Through our sessions, I may employ techniques from CBT, DBT, and ACT, but I am client-centered and humanistic at the core. It is this collaborative and strengths-based approach that often inspires the growth necessary to overcome the struggles that one may be facing. Whether it be anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, phase of life struggles, or just needing an unbiased resource, knowing that you have an ally in this journey is an integral part of the process. While a large part of my experience has been working with children and adolescents, I have had the privilege of working with diverse groups of people of all ages. In session, we will work together to help navigate this often complicated world, while working to uncover underlying themes, at your pace. As a clinical psychologist, being a part of your journey and learning about what makes you who you are is an honor and I will always treat it as such. I have a Bachelors in Psychology, a Masters in Clinical Psychology and I am currently in the process of obtaining certification for play therapy and becoming a certified clinical trauma professional. I hope to one day be a part of your journey through life, whatever that may entail.
