My approach to therapy is based on a collaborative relationship with my client in which I am striving to serve their personalized needs. I believe that clients know themselves best and should be treated as the expert on their mental health journey. My approach is tailored to each client, as I recognize that everyone is unique and requires their own individualized treatment.
I graduated from the University of Michigan – Dearborn with a Bachelors in Psychology and a certificate in Addiction Studies. I am currently in my second year of graduate school in pursuit of my Master's in Social Work. In my clinical experience, I have worked with a wide range of client demographics and concerns including anxiety, depression, addiction, and trauma. I plan on continuing to expand my knowledge of mental health through both traditional schooling and in field experience as I strive to enhance my practice for those I serve.
Overall, it is my goal to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for clients of all backgrounds and identities. I know just how difficult reaching out for help can be, so I want to make sure that while you are working with me you always feel welcomed and understood.
