Life gets overwhelming and heavy sometimes. I believe that everyone deserves a kind and accepting space in order to process, plan, heal and flourish. It is the privilege of my life to provide that space for my clients. No one can take away the trials and trauma of life, but the relationship we build together can give you the support you need, to tap into the strength you already have inside, and grow toward the person you know you can be.
I received my Bachelor of Science in neuroscience from Michigan State University and my Master’s degree in clinical psychology counseling from Roosevelt University in Chicago. I have experience working with clients 15 years and older, including a diverse range of ages, cultures, sexual identities, and genders. I work with clients individually, as couples, and in groups.
I have a creative, individualized, and holistic approach to therapy, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), acceptance-based therapy, and mindfulness-based treatment strategies. I have experience working with clients who struggle with many kinds of trauma, depression, anxiety, OCD, grief, life transitions, relationship challenges, goal setting, stress management, gender transitions, and other life experiences, symptoms, disabilities, and mood disorders.
I am filled with gratitude that I get to do this job and that my clients trust me with their stories, fears, and vulnerability. I will support you, challenge you, and meet you where you are with warmth, humor, and insight.
