Your present circumstances don’t determine where you go; they merely determine where you start.” – Nido Qubein

Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, but it also shows courage and a willingness to invest in yourself. It tells me you’re ready to take steps toward change, even if you’re not entirely sure what the path ahead will look like.

I graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and am currently pursuing my Master of Social Work at Wayne State University. At its core, my approach to therapy is person-centered, meaning I believe you are the expert on your own life. I integrate this with tools from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Trauma-Informed Care practices, always through a strengths-based and compassionate lens. Therapy with me is about creating a space where you feel truly seen, understood, and supported, while also building the skills and resilience you need to move forward.

If you’re ready to take that next step, I’d be honored to support you on your journey.
