Hannah Bonenfant

I believe that everyone has a set of strengths they can draw from when they are experiencing hardship. Oftentimes, however, an individual might not be able to tap into those strengths because the problem they are facing seems too overwhelming. As a counselor, my goal is to help you discover those strengths, develop them, and put them into action so you can cope with life’s various complications. I will work with you to collaborate on the best way to achieve your goals while taking into consideration areas such as meaning making, helpful and unhelpful thought processes, behavioral actions and consequences, and, perhaps most importantly, how your past experiences impact your present situation.

Life can be exhausting and difficult; therapy is no exception. If you are willing to put in the work, I am here to support you every step of the way. I look forward to working with you towards your goals!

I graduated with a BA in psychology from Wayne State University in 2018 (Summa Cum Laude), and with an MA in clinical mental health counseling from Oakland University in 2021. I currently hold limited licensure as an LLPC, and I am under supervision by a fully licensed professional counselor.
