I am an avid believer of radical acceptance, as I specialized in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy during my Masters program. I have practiced yoga daily for the past 7 years and my dream is one day to incorporate yoga and social work together as a Holistic healing practice. I graduated from Wayne State with my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and my Masters in Social Work. I specialize in depression and suicide prevention. I am a trained crisis worker, for a year I answered the Crisis Hotline for Common Ground as well as overflow from the Suicide Hotline. I have both inpatient and outpatient mental health experience and have worked in a substance abuse rehabilitation center as well as a family clinic with people of all ages and various backgrounds.
My goal is always to meet a client where they are at. I would love to show clients mind, body and spirit modalities of practice to incorporate into their lives, if they are interested. I believe that Mind, Body, and Spirit are connected and must be taken care of properly and affectionately. I am a LGBTQA+ affirming psychotherapist and my pronouns are She/Her.
