Reading profile after profile to find the right “fit” when searching for a therapist is a daunting task. My goal is to quickly build rapport in a safe, supportive, empathetic and non-judgmental environment filled with kindness and even a sense of humor to help you discover and resolve whatever issue(s) is keeping you “stuck.” I look forward to the opportunity to work together to bring about healing, change, and new perspectives.
I have a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from the Michigan School of Professional Psychology and a Bachelor’s degree and teaching certificate from the University of Michigan. As a therapist, educator, group facilitator, parent and spouse, I possess the background and life experience necessary to help facilitate change. While some journeys are brief, others take time to discover. As a person-centered psychologist, you will set the course for the destination, while I tag along pointing out things you may have missed as you focused on the road. With the improved insight, you will better understand yourself which will ultimately lead to the growth and change you desire together with a healthier sense of self.
I offer treatment to adolescents and adults specializing in anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship issues, self-esteem, and self-confidence. I encourage you to invest in yourself and make your well-being a priority; it not only benefits you but those around you. Thank you for taking the time to view my profile.
