Darlene McMichael is a native Detroit-er; she is a graduate from the Wayne State University where she studied for her Bachelor’s and her Master’s in Social Work. She is a member of Phi Alpha Honor Society and a member of the National association of Social Workers. She has experienced working with individuals age 5-105. She has worked extensively with individual in substance abuse; also worked with individuals experiencing Anxiety, Depression, Trauma and individuals in Hospice. Darlene that lived and worked in Los Angeles for 25 years, her primary area of work in Los Angeles was in family reunification. Darlene enjoys working with individuals, families and groups to restore a healthy level of functioning that works best for the individuals she serves. Treatment modalities most commonly used by Darlene are Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Crisis Intervention Model, and Narrative Therapy.
