My goal is to provide a safe, welcoming, and judgement-free space for my clients. I provide individual therapy for a wide range of populations who are experiencing various concerns including: anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, identity concerns, life adjustment difficulties, mood disorders, career concerns, and substance use.
I view therapy as a collaborative process in which we work together to address personal, psychological, career, social, and academic concerns, while also promoting wellness. I view clients as the experts of their narratives and I serve as an aide and guide to assisting clients to develop understanding, reduce distress, and achieve healthy functioning. My approach to therapy is tailored to meet the individual needs of each client.
I received a Bachelors of Science in Social Work from Bowling Green State University. I then earned a Master’s Degree in Counselor Education with a dual concentration in Clinical Mental Health and Clinal Rehabilitation from The Pennsylvania State University. I am currently enrolled as a full time doctoral student in pursuit of a Doctorate in Counselor Education at Oakland University.
