Brianne Bendel

Welcome!

I take a strengths-based, client-centered approach to counseling individuals. I believe each client has within them the tremendous potential for growth with the support, skill set, and insight gained from the collaborative, therapeutic relationship. Although I am grounded in a client-centered approach, I will often incorporate various techniques and coping skills to best suite the client and their needs.

I have earned a Master of Arts in Counseling from Spring Arbor University. I also hold a Bachelor of Arts in English with minors in Psychology and Creative Writing from Oakland University.

While I have received training in various areas of counseling and have experience working with diverse populations, I have a focus and interest in working with older adolescents and young women on anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, grief/loss, self-esteem, social/communication skills, and women’s concerns.

It is my intent to provide a safe haven where clients feel free to be themselves while working towards the therapeutic goals that we have set together. I look forward to working with you!
