Benji Efros

My name is Benjamin (Benji) Efros, MA, LLC, NCC. I am a Limited Licensed Counselor (practicing under supervision) who earned a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Family Institute at Northwestern University. I focus specifically on providing counseling services to adult clients.

The foundation of my therapeutic approach is person-centered, but I also implement interventions and incorporate skills from multiple therapy types, including Psychodynamic and Cognitive-Behavioral frameworks.

I believe that the therapeutic process is a collaborative partnership built on trust, curiosity, and active client engagement. I enter my counseling relationships optimistic about my clients' progress, pre-existing strengths, and their potential for enhanced mental health and well-being.
