Everyone deserves a free and open place to express their emotions, struggles, thoughts, and feelings. An unbiased ear gives my clients the courage to express what they may feel others would judge or criticize what they are truly feeling.
In today’s fast paced world, it seems easy to push back emotions and feelings on the back burner. One of my main goals for my clients is to help them recognize and explore and underlying issues that may be impeding their daily mental health and functioning.
I have been through my fair share of life experiences. Grief, loss, trauma, parenting, and marriage have humbled me as a counselor to better understand and relate to my clients struggles. Empathy, caring, understanding and warmth are what i believe foster a safe and open environment for my clients.
My objective is to build a relationship based on trust and respect with my clients in order to set realistic goals that the client wants to achieve. My office is a free setting to discuss and explore my clients needs.
I work with individuals experiencing anxiety disorders, depression, life-transitions, self-esteem issues, parenting struggles, and grief/loss.
I have an BA in liberal arts with an elementary education background. I have my Masters degree from Spring Arbor University in school and adult counseling. People are my passion, together we have the power to heal and grow.
