As a mental health professional, I believe in creating a safe and genuine environment for a client to be free to acknowledge their most vulnerable self, without judgment. The client- counselor relationship is unique and collaborative, therefore the significance of a trusting bond cannot be overemphasized. I believe that the therapeutic relationship grows organically, with time, and at the client’s pace.
Each client is unique, so I integrate approaches and techniques best suited to the individual–Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioral, Humanistic, and Mindfulness– but at the core of therapy is self-exploration. I have professional experience with children, adolescents, and adults in areas of depression, anxiety, grief and loss, disabilities and daily living skills, art/play therapy, and ASD.
I am passionate about healthcare and animals, and I am here for the challenge with you. I am dedicated to assisting clients to overcome struggles and strive towards success, in whatever form that it may take.
