I am a psychotherapist with a Master’s degree in Human Development, a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and a certification in Infant Mental Health from Wayne State University. I have more than 12 years experience working within the child welfare system advocating for children, teens and families. I have a host of experience including providing treatment to individuals with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, family challenges, childhood trauma experience, loss and abandonment issues and child behavioral issues. My desire is to serve others and help people reach their full potential.
I believe the most important component of therapy is building a supportive and positive alliance with my clients. Through this trusting relationship, one can feel comfortable exploring feelings and thoughts that get in the way of living the healthy, fulfilling lives they desire. I believe that taking time to explore, process and work through issues is a necessity to healthy living.
